Monrovia-Former Hapoel Kfar Saba and Liberia's late forward, Patrick Doeplah arrived in Liberia on March 21, 2011 from Israel ahead of Liberia Olympic qualifier match against Ivory Coast to be play in Ghana.

Shehata renews confidence on the old guard

Hassan Shehata and his team have their bags on the wall. They will have tough task against the Bafana Bafana in Ellis Park Johannesburg on March 26 in the third playing day of the African Cup qualifiers.
The Pharaohs have endured a catastrophic campaign in Group G after a 1-1 draw against Sierra Leone and a 0-1 defeat to Niger in Niamey. They presently have three points less than leaders South Africa.
 
In order to make sure they put their campaign back on track Hassan Shehata has decided to recall experience players of the side. Goalkeeper Essam al-Hadary, defenders Ahmed Fathi, Wael Gomaa, Sayed Moawad and Ahmed Al Mohamady, midfielders Hossam Ghaly and  Hosny Abd Rabou and attackers Mohamed Zidan and  Mohamed Nagy Geddo, best player at Angola 2010 were all recalled to the side.  
Egypt has seen « the worst » till now. Said Hamada Sedki, Shehata’s assiatant. The absence of the six times African Champions at the next competition will be catastrophic reason why Egypt is doing everything to avaid defeat against South Africa. Mohamed Zidan will lead the absence in the absence of Amr Zaki and Emad Moteab who are unavailable.
