Africa's World Cup seedings announced
The seedings for Africa's 2014 World Cup first and second qualifying rounds have been announced.

The 2014 World Cup qualifying draw will be held on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil will host the competition from 12 June - 13 July 2014.
A total of five Afican nations will qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
Burkina Faso are the only one of the top seeds to have never contested a World Cup before, while 2006 finalists Togo could be knocked in the very first round.
FIRST QUALIFYING ROUND
Pot 5 (countries ranked 29-40): Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, Liberia, Tanzania, Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Namibia, Burundi, Madagascar
Pot 6 (ranked 41-52): Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Swaziland, Comoros Islands, Lesotho, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritius, Seychelles, Sao Tome e Principe
The 12 countries in Pot 5 will be drawn against the 12 from Pot 6, who will play at home first. Aggregate winners from November's two-legged ties will advance to the second round.
SECOND QUALIFYING ROUND Pot 1 (ranked 1-10): Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Cameroon, Algeria, Tunisia
Pot 2 (ranked 11-20): Gabon, Libya, Morocco, Guinea, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Mali, Cape Verde Islands
Pot 3 (ranked 21-28 plus two others): Benin, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Niger, Angola, The Gambia plus two first round pairings
Pot 4: the remaining 10 qualifiers from the first round
The 10 four-team groups will be formed by drawing together one team from each pot and each country plays three opponents at home and away.
The matches will start in June 2012 and conclude in September 2013.
THIRD QUALIFYING ROUND A draw will split the 10 group winners into five two-leg ties, with the aggregate winners qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The first leg of these decisive matches will take place in October 2013, concluding a month later.

Shock deal
Tottenham swoop to sign Ivorian prodigy Souleymane Coulibaly
As promised earlier this week, the Senegal Football Federation (FSF) disciplinary committee on Wednesday announced its decision concerning Blackburn Rovers player and former Senegal international El Hadji Diouf, after he failed to appear before the committee to defend a defamation of character accusation.
Olympique Marseille pulled off a stunning comeback to beat Lille 5-4 in France's Trophy of the Champions having been 3-1 down with five minutes to go on Wednesday.
Forward Andre Ayew scored a hat-trick for Marseille (71, 90 and 90+5) in an incredible encounter in the traditional curtain raiser to the French season played in Tangiers.
Double winners Lille looked very much at home early on with Florent Balmont opening the scoring after nine minutes.
Belgian winger Eden Hazard, who Lille have managed to cling on to despite interest from a raft of top European clubs, doubled their advantage just before the hour.
Rudi Garcia's Lille have been busy in the transfer market following last term's shock success and key new signings Dimitri Payet, bought to replace Gervinho who has joined Arsenal, and midfielder Benoit Pedretti slotted effortlessly into the side.
Marseille, playing in the match courtesy of finishing second in Ligue 1 last term, started with new recruit Alou Diarra in midfield and looked to be floundering until Ayew's first.
Last season's league top scorer Moussa Sow netted almost immediately for Lille but Jeremy Morel (85) and Loic Remy (87) brought Didier Deschamps' Marseille level.
Marko Basa's injury-time goal for Lille sandwiched between Ayew's second and third further complicated a mad end to the game. The French league season starts a week on Saturday.

Former Blackburn forward Senegal international El Hadji Diouf handed five-year ban
The Senegal FA has slapped former Teranga Lions skipper El Hadji Diouf with a five-year suspension for publicly discrediting the body’s officials and snubbing a summons

The committee pronounced a five-year ban on the 30-year-old two-time African Footballer of the Year based on articles 11 and 16 of the FSF code of discipline and articles 172 and 176 of the general regulations of the Federation.
“The Disciplinary Committee, after deliberation, inflicted on professional footballer El Hadj Diouf Ousseynou a five-year suspension from all football activities with effect from the date of notification of this decision,” read the statement published by Senegal Press Agency, APS.
The committee, however, mentioned that Diouf has the right to appeal the decision.
The former Liverpool player was summoned after his interview with French radio RFI, in which he described officials of the FSF as “corrupt people and destroyers of the country’s football.”
Diouf did not report to the hearing because, according him, no invitation from the FSF reached his desk, even though the body insists it duly sent a letter of summons to his lawyer and parent club.
The player had threatened an all out war with the FA if he was banned.
